A New Addition to our Tea Collection

Village at Midnight

This blend of fine Assam black teas was created for anyone wanting to achieve a dark, malty and full-bodied cup of tea with a relatively low level of astringency.

The solid brew is a little stronger that our estate Assam teas yet still almost as smooth.

Village at Midnight stands up well with milk and sugar and would fit in perfectly as a breakfast tea – but don't relegate it to just the morning, it is quite comfortable throughout the day.

Start with one level teaspoon (measuring spoon) per 6 ounces of boiling water and steep for three to five minutes and enjoy.

Increase the quantity of tea per measure of water for a stronger cup of tea and decrease the steeping time to avoid astringency. [Unless you are an overbrewer – feel free to steep till the cows come home!]

How To Order

Online ordering is one of the next items on the “To Do” list; however, it isn't quite ready for prime-time. In the meantime, if you would like to order any of our teas or coffees you have two options:

1) Telephone Ordering

Our staff is available during store hours to process your order: Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm.

If you are transferred to the message line please leave your name, phone number and mention placing an order and our staff will contact you when a line is free if the shop is open, or the next business day if the shop is closed.

2) Email Ordering

During business hours we will contact you as soon as possible about product availability and payment method.

Currently we ship anywhere in Canada through Canada Post. The only charge on top of the order total will be the actual shipping cost. There is no handling charge.

Payments can be made through Visa or Mastercard.
